This past fall, the FJPP completed the choreographic toolkits Duos pour corps et instruments, Bras de plomb and Cartes postales de Chimère. We’re now hard at work on two new toolkits for Les choses dernières, by Lucie Grégoire, and Bagne, by Jeff Hall and Pierre-Paul Savoie.
Choreographic toolkits include all the elements associated with a dance piece, such as notations, technical riders, set design, costumes and makeup, press kits, videos of performances and rehearsals, and interviews. They’re a treasure trove of information and an invaluable tool for remounting, understanding and preserving dance works.
The toolkits for Bagne and Les choses dernières should be ready by the end of June. We’ll be celebrating these new arrivals to the family. Stay tuned!
