A workshop for amateur dancers and non-dancers at Maison de la culture Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension
The workshop Danser Joe dans la ville is once again headed for the Maison de la culture Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension during the Journées de la culture.
In the company of Sara Hanley and Catherine Tardif, two fabulous dance artists who have performed Joe on stage, participants will don the iconic costume—boots, a felt hat and an oversize raincoat—and will learn a few excerpts from the work. By offering this experience to participants, Danser Joe dans la ville – a workshop created by Ginelle Chagnon – helps to keep the choreography alive in the body of each dancer, and in our shared memory.
